My grand father was born in 1900 in Londonderry Ireland and is of the same name as me [john raymond devlin]. He joined the Royal iniskilling Fusileirs in 1916 underage and fought in WWI. Anyways, he was adopted and i dont know if Devlin was his real or adopted name. Ill bet one of you Devlin kin out there can help me out in finding out a little more about my own roots. He married Violet Devlin [halvorsen] and was father to Yvonne Devlin [arnot, gratton], Donald Devlin, Joanne Devlin[ McConkey] and my father John Robert [bob] devlin.. that is quite a lot of info there so if anybody can help a devlin that is soon to be really famous [he hopes] drop me a line at the email adress pasted to this message.
