Linda:
Just this week I received information from the National Archives in Canada which might interest you.
A family of Devlins from Leeke, Parish of Bovevagh, Londonderry/Derry sailed in 1833-1834 to New York, then to Quebec, Canada.
Among them were:
Dennis DEVLIN, 26
Dennis DEVLIN, 40
Margaret DEVLIN, 35
Others in the party were Molly Devlin, 64; Peter, 42; Mary, 40; James, 40; Ann, 28.

Others on the same ship, from the same community were:
McEntire, Connor, , Guy and Hamilton.

I am researching our great-great-grandfather James DEVLIN, born Marcy 7,1830, Ireland.
He married in 1854 to Phoebe SWEET in East St. Armand, Missiquoi County, Quebec, Canada
and by 1851 was living in Brome County, Quebec, Canada. He and Phoebe were living with their son Edward in Iron Hill, Brome County, Quebec in 1901.

Sandra Devlin
in Moncton, New Brunswick, (east coast), Canada
