Hello Kandy:

For Henry Devlin B 1843 +/- 4 yrs, somewhere in Ireland, with the father's forename unknown, I found 24 rcds: 1839 TYR, 3-1840 TYR, 1841 ARM, 1841 ANT, 1841 TYR, 3-1842 TYR, 1842 LNG, 2-1843 TYR, 1844 ROS, 1844 DWN, 1844 ARM, 1845 ANT, 1846 ARM, 1846 TYR, 1847 ARM, 1847 DER, 2-1847 ANT, and 1847 DWN. None have a father forenamed Robert.

For Pat(rick) Devline B ditto - 83 rcds - too many to easily summarize here.

The number of rcds is daunting. There is only a small possibility that you could sort these rcds and find the pair born in the same parish with the same father's name, asssuming the range is correct AND that the rcds have survived.

Suggest you search naturalization papers to find a more exact DOB, parent(s) name(s), and/or placename(s) to pick which, if any, are the right ones.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
