Here's a piece of the puzzle for you, possibly. It comes from one of those generic family histories. Murtagh Cullen was born about 1747 and married, in County Tyrone, a Bridget Devlin, daughter of Mark Devlin. Children were: Patrick, John, James, Charles, Hugh, Michael, and Nancy. This family is related to Patrick Cullen, an Augustinian hermit consecrated as Bishop of Clogher in 1519. The family is of the Leinster sept of O'Cullens.
