I live in Co Tyrone N Ireland and |I can tell you that most Devlins originate from an area along the western shore of Lough Neagh centred on the parish of Ardboe. Parish records there should go back to sometime in last century. Neighbouring parishes also have a lot of Devlins.
Interested to hear any Devlin folklore, songs, stories, poems, tales, pictures relevant to this area possibly to be published in local newsletter here.
I know that I am coming at it from the oposite side but would be grateful to have anything relevant.
