Patrick M. DEVLIN, b. Dungannon, Co. Tyrone 1832, d. 1905 Providence, RI
Posted by: Beth Hurd (ID *****8620) Date: July 13, 2007 at 12:50:36
  of 1442

I haven't figured out if I'm related ... my mother's maiden is DEVLIN, daughter of John Francis Devlin, son of James Devlin, born in Co. Tyron, moved to Rhode Island. James was the son of Henry & Susan/Susannah. My ancestors are buried in the same cemetery, but no gravestones! Very frugal.

St. Francis (Catholic) Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI
Sec. 45

Joseph Cronin, 1902 - 1977

(side 4)
In Memory of Patrick M. Devlin
born in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, Ireland in 1832
died in Providence, R.I., Aug. 14, 1905, aged 75 years
rest in peace.

I found a marriage record - different spelling:
Marriages by groom, Rhode Island, 1890 - 1900

Joseph P. Devlin married Mary Tierney, July 15, 1891
(Record # 91-465-28) in Providence, RI

I'm wondering how their sons died the same day? I hope I didn't make a copying error.
