I haven't figured out if I'm related ... my mother's maiden is DEVLIN, daughter of John Francis Devlin, son of James Devlin, born in Co. Tyron, moved to Rhode Island. James was the son of Henry & Susan/Susannah. My ancestors are buried in the same cemetery, but no gravestones! Very frugal. St. Francis (Catholic) Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI Sec. 45 DEVLIN (4 sided stone) (# 229) Mary Tiernan, wife of Joseph P. Devlin, died Feb. 17, 1913, aged 47 years (side 2) Christopher C., b. Oct. 19, 1892, died April 15, 1901 Chester J., b. Feb. 18, 1897, died April 15, 1901 sons of Mary T. and Joseph P. Devlin (side 3) Joseph Cronin, 1902 - 1977 his wife Mary Moakler, 1901 - 1943 (side 4) In Memory of Patrick M. Devlin born in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, Ireland in 1832 died in Providence, R.I., Aug. 14, 1905, aged 75 years rest in peace. I found a marriage record - different spelling: Marriages by groom, Rhode Island, 1890 - 1900 Joseph P. Devlin married Mary Tierney, July 15, 1891 (Record # 91-465-28) in Providence, RI I'm wondering how their sons died the same day? I hope I didn't make a copying error.
