Possible. It would depend on your dad's ancestors. My great-great-grandfather, Francis Devlin, had at least one brother named John. John was still alive in 1923 and living in Wheeling, WV, which is not too far from Washington Co, PA. (just over state line). "My" John Devlin also would have likely lived in Johnstown, PA, and possibly Pittsburgh, PA. He most likely would have been born in the 1850-1870 time frame so if there is a connection, he would have had to be an ancestor of yours. First thing to do would be to ask your dad about his parents and grandparents, any names, dates of birth or death and possible locations. And if your dad has any siblings, some of their remembrances may help as well.
