This is my first visit to this forum, and you can imagine my shock to find out that A) someone was looking for me B) That I was not the Ellen Devlin sought. (I'm old, but I certainly was NOT around in 1860).

I'm an Ellen Devlin, grandaughter of Jane Alma Murphy and Joseph Devlin of Yonkers, NY. Joseph and Jane had two children: Robert Emmett and Eileen.

I'm interested in tracing this Devlin branch back to Ireland (I was told that Joseph's parents came from County Omaugh(drats, can't spell it!)"Oh-Ma" in Northern Ireland.

Does anybody have a clue?
