Develin on death certificate
I have posted before, but cannot find the original post. For some reason, my ggg-grandmother, Elizabeth [Crusen] Wolcott, was listed as Elizabeth DEVELIN on her adoptive son's D.C. {Fayette [SHANE] Wolcott. Now, I have since discovered the gravestones of my ggg-grandfather, Newell Wolcott (1884), and their four grandchildren Wayne, Charlie, Pearl, and May McEnally; who all died within one week, of diphtheria (July/August 1883). Elizabeth is not buried there with them. There is a possibility that she died in 1893 in Michigan, but I do not know where yet. There is no indication that she was remarried...she was already 72 when Newell died. Just in case, I wanted to see if anyone knew about a marriage between an Elizabeth Wolcott and a Develin. It's a stretch, but thought it odd that Fayette's son, Fay Newell Wolcott would have entered that info on the DC. MH in Toledo, Ohio
