I sincerely hope you are not too disappointed with this news but.........there is NO specific coat of arms for the Devitt family. The coat of arms with the leaping stag is in fact that of the O'Doherty family.

It was assigned to the Devitts because the ancestors of David O'Doherty were recognised as the sons of David or MacDabheid,in Gaelic. Hence MacDevitt, Devitt, Davitt, McDaid, McKevitt etc.
