Hi, not sure what to say really, i recently asked my dad,Michael Devitt where our name originates from he told me my Grandfather (Ronald Devitt) had relatives in the u.s and that he had tried (my father that is) to trace them.
My grandfather told my dad that there was a priest living in the u.s under the same surname as ours and that he was not to have any correspondance with him whatsoever.
Unfortunately my grandfather died 14 years ago and now me and my father are keen to find out about the "Devitt" name.
As far as we know we have an elderly realtive in the u.s named Olga Devitt??
Where do i go from here???
