I have been searching for the parents of Nelson DEVINNEY, born 1822 in NJ. I have discovered that Levi DEVINEY(b. abt 1825 in PA) had a son, Nelson (b. 1850 in York Co.) He had other children - Albert (b. 1847), Jacob (b. 1848), Andrew (b. 1852), Isabella Josephine (b. 1854), Emma Jane (b. 1856) Priscilla Magdalena (b. 1859), Sarah, (b. 1863) and Levi (b. 1865). Our Nelson had a son, Ethelbert (Elbert) and a daughter, Sarah. Could there be a connection between these two families? I would appreciate any information about either family.
