I'm searching for an "unknown" DeVinney, father of my gfather, James Louis DeVinney, born in Louisville July 11, 1845. Family legend is that my ggfather owned a mattress factory in Louisville, and had donated land to be used as a cemetery, but was used by the city as a public park. James Louis served in the Confederate Army, in the 1st and 3rd MO Calvary Battallion, from 1861 to 1865. So far, I've drawn a complete blank, on this unknown Devinney
