I am seeking information on the Devenney family of Granville Ohio. What I have so far is John Pascal Devenney born in Gordonsville VA and died in Granville Ohio. He is buried at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Granville, Licking County Ohio. His dates are 1808-1895. His wife was Debrah B. Sheldon Devenney. Her dates were 1809-1896.
I am speculating that they had at least three children: Warner Cornelius Devenney, Emma Devenney and Samuel Sheldon Devenney. Emma Devenney married John M. Robinson possibly in Cadiz Ohio. They had at least 2 children Frank Sheldon Robinson and Hubert Devenney Robinson. I have found a number of Devenneys serving in the Civil War from Ohio but do not have a direct connection as yet to this family. any help would be greatly appreciated.
