My 3rd great grandmother was an Anna
Devinney (spelling uncertain) buried in Blairsville Cemetary in Pennsylvania.
My gg grandfather's (Wilson Ringle) death certificate lists his father as
Mathias Ringle (b. 1799, Westmoreland PA, died 1873 and buried in
Blairsville Cemetary) and his mother is listed only as "Devinney" or
"Devinny" -- it's hard to read. In the 1850 census I found Mathias and his
family, with his wife listed as "Anna".
Looking at the Blairsville Cemetary list I find an Anna Ringle and a large
number of Devinneys whom I assume are her family. She was born about 1813
and died November 3, 1903.
I would love to connect with someone else working on this Devinney line
