I am looking for info about the Aaron Devinney family. In a message posted by Lori Mounts she had Aaron Devinney's son William md to a Elizabeth Lawrence. Would like to clear up exactly who William Devinney was married too. Following is info I have:
1st generation:
Aaron Devinney: 1710-1777, md Margaret Stuart
2nd generation:
William Devinney: 1755-1808, md 1st Mary Robinson (d. 1791), md 2nd Elizabeth Drake (d. 1797)
3rd generation:
Aaron Devinney: 1791-1874, md Barbara Fair (s/o William Devinney and 1st wife Mary Robinson)
Margaret Devinney: 1793-1861, md James Ferguson (d/o William Devinney and 2nd wife Elizabeth Drake)
Can anyone clear this up? My husband is descended from James and Margaret (Devinney) Ferguson.
Help with any other children from Aaron and Margaret (Stuart) Devinney and their son William Devinney would be greatly appreciated.
