Jenkins Devaney, dec'd, after the deaths of both widows" (dated 15 Jun 1821)
Moved to Roane Co., TN between 1845 and 1850 (youngest child, Ellis was born
in NC in 1845; Aaron & family are listed on 1850 Roane Co., TN census.)
Wilmuth:
Wilmuth's name and date of birth appear in the pension file for William Fawn,
her father. I found her middle initial in a deed book (see message for Aaron
Devaney.)

The only proof that Ether(?) was a child of Ellis & Martha is:
1) Ether was buried in the same cemetery as Pulaska DeVaney.
2) I know from the 1900 census that Ellis & Martha had 8 children, and I have
only been able to identify 6 from the various censuses. Ether was born and
died between censuses.
