I am looking for information on the family of John Devine, born Ireland abt.1791.His wife was Elizabeth Hutton,born abt. 1796, also in Ireland. They lived with their 11 children in Eastwood, Pollokshaws, Renfrewshire, Scotland from abt.1830 on. The first few children were born in Ireland, and the rest were born in Scotland. John's son Peter was my gr.gr. grandfather.
John's parents were Hugh Devine & Mary Poller.
I would like to know where in Ireland this Devine family originated. I have found their name in Census' spelled Divine & Devine.
Any help would be appreciated.
