Elizabeth,
Are you the daughter of Edward Devin and the granddaughter of Edward and Mary (Fitzpatrick) Devin? If so, I am your father's cousin.
The only Edward Devin I know, other than the two I mentioned, came to the United States from Ireland in 1864. I have not seen any document, however, that has a middle name of Michael for him. His father and his son were both named Michael. His son, Michael, was a Boston policeman.
If we are in the same family, I would love to share notes with you.
