Here is a somewhat extraordinary enquiry to this forum:
I know my biological father is a man named Robert F. Devin and I am looking for him. I do not know him, have never met or spoken to him, neither do I know if he is still alive.
He was a soldier in Stegskopf, Burbach, Germany, for some time around 1966. My mother was his girl friend - fiance - at that time, her name is Elke Heinz. He had to return home to the USA before I was born, which was in July 1967.
Unfortunately, I do not know much more about him, e.g. how old he was or is, or where exactly he came from in the US.
I guess you can all imagine how glad I would be if anybody could give me a hint where else to look for him!
