My great great Grandmother was an Augustine McLeod Nee DEVIN her parents were Auguste and Marie Devin from France they moved to Jersey in the channel Islands and Had Augustine in 1863 in St Helier and her brother Augustin in 1868. Auguste was born in 1838 and Marie in 1828 (yes she was ten years older) on the 1901 census the brother is called Auguste and the father Augustine. Do you have any information that could help me track down where in france they came from. Are you French DEVIN or DE VIN? many thanks
