My father lived in Burlington Wi. with his grandmother who was married to Henry L. Devereaux.(not his grandfather) Mr. D. owned the Burlington newspaper. Supposedly Mr. D's nephew posed for the famous fife & drum painting. This may be far from your search but perhaps the Burlington Historical Society would know more.Spoke to Mrs. Al J. VandeSand 1-414-763-3756. Good luck
