Devereux's of Rhode Island and PA

Looking for information on my GGGrandfather William S. Devereux's family. William Devereux was born in 1842 in Rhode Island. His parents Patrick and Essy were both apparently born in Ireland in 1800. I don't know when they moved to PA, but they appear to be in the 1870 census. In addition, William Devereux served with the 26th and 99th PA Vol Infantry in the civil war.
