David Devereaux b. 5/31/1851 was my g-g-grandfather. He married Rosella Allen and lived in Penefeild, Lorain Co., Ohio. Their son, my g-grandfather, was Mark E. Devereaux who married Ethel White. I am searching for the parents of David. I heard the stories of the Spirit of 76 painting as I was growing up and I believe there is something about Wellington Ohio connected to that painting, like maybe it was painted there. Wellington is right next to Penfield, Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
