Hi, Sunny,
My gg-grandfather Richard Devereux was in Escambia County FL in 1830 living near the Kinchen Chestnutts, which made me believe he might be Emily's brother. He listed his birthplace as GA, 1804. She was born about 1807-1809. We are uncertain of Richard's parentage. Suspect a connection with other GA Devereux's, descended from Morgan Devereux and Elizabeth Hughes of Wales, UK. Also Richard named a daughter Amelia/Emily. Let me hear from you. Jimmie
