I just learned this name and my connection to it, and am taking a real stab in the dark hoping someone may be able to help---at least a bit.

I am looking for a woman named Sarah Devereaux. I think she may have lived in the Quebec area Frampton? perhaps.
She was the godmother to Margaret O'Connor-who was one of the daughters of James O'Connor and Mary Kells.
James Kelley was her godfather.

I don't have any information on Sarah.

Margaret O'Connor's sibblings were
Elizabeth, Jane, Matthew, Thomas, Patrick, Catherine, and
the youngest born about 1852 was Anastasia. By 1860 the O'Connor's were in the Santa clara/Santa Cruz area of CA
Elizabeth the oldest born in 1837 m William Adam
Jane m William Dougherty
Matthew m Mary Bradley
Thomas
Patrick m (1)Sarah Doherty of Missouri, (2) Margaret Bradley(Mary's sister, both were my grandfathers sisters-he stayed in Boston)
Catherine m James Lawlor
Margare m James Thorpe
and Anastasia.

That las part about them living and marrying in CA, is for background information with a name like O'Connor I felt it may be needed. Also the O could have been dropped while they were in Canada, but put back in CA.

Thank you for any help with Sarah.
Other names : O'Connor, Bradley, Adam, Thorpe, Sinnott,
Lawlor, Winterhalder, Dellamonica, Bearny(Margaret) & Patrick) Doyle(May or Mary) Barton (Rosalie.)

Thank you again
Barb
