When researching Richard Devereux in Escambia Co. FL, I obtained a copy of the marriage certificate for Emily Devereux. The spelling on the certificate had no "a" - also there was no "Mrs." or other indication that this was a woman previously married. Naturally I am also interested in Emily's forbears.
