Hi All, Dever researchers
My husband is a Dever decendant, thru his mother's family,she Decends thur. both her father and her mother's side.
Her father's side goes like this, James Dever, Henry Dever, Stephen Dever, William Dever, George Washington Dever. Ollie Dever,and Mary Elizabeth Dever, Hayward Prewitt, my husband.
Her mother's side, James Dever, Henry Dever, Stephen Dever, James C Dever, Rebecca Dever, Eva Lena Essex, Mary Elizabeth Dever, Hayward Prewitt, my husband.
I have some dates if any one needs them.

How sure are you about Henry's father being James Dever?
There have been others who had a different name as father..I also descend from Henry md Elizabeth Miles, Stephen md Eunice Atherton, Nathaniel md Angeline Davis, Nathan md Selina Durbin, Benjamin Larue md Flora Saunders, John E md Mattie Bryson, and then I, Bobette L Devers...Also does your Dever add a "S" on their name?
