Dever's, Denning"s where are we from?

i sent a request to the clerk of chelsea
and was inquiring on some malones and dennings . they sent me back this list
catherine malone 7-17-1880 fr john mr bridget
charles e malone 1-15-1885fr john f mr bridget
james p denning 1-15- 1875 fr william h mr elizabeth
james denning 7-30-1879fr patrick mr margaret
james J denning10-13-1872 frJames a mr mary broderick

well as an aside i noticed that denning and dever my two main names dont seem to be oneplace but many. well if anywhere they seem to be scotland as sept names. well it accured to me that james seems to be predominant why i asked. and this is my answer. we are catholics and if we were scots then we were probably in king jimmy and mary's people. so when the rebellion happened they moved to a catholic country nearest ireland they stayed for a while and then moved on to america keeping m,ary and charles and james as names what do you think
