My relatives came from Dunkeenly, Co Donagal in the 1850s. James Dever came to the US with his brother Thomas who later returned to Ireland. Jamse also brought his daughter Mary Dever. (His first wife was Mary Brandon, who we believe died in Ireland.) James married Bridgett Mahoney in the US (probably in the New York City area) and then moved to central New York. James and Thomas' father was Bernard Dever, and I don't know their mothers mane. There were probable more brothers and sister than James and Thomas, but I don't know their names.

Let me know if any of this helps!
-Don
