Hi Mary Jo,

We have hit a blank in tracing my ggf's Patrick Dever's family in Ireleand. He was born in about 1846 in Donegal, his parents were John Dever and Magra Kelly. That is from his 1874 Brisbane Australia marriage certificate. An unlce visited the parish in Ireland but says all the records were destroyed when the chuch burned sometime in the 1800's. But he found that Patrick had two brothers who emigrated to the USA.

My homepage is ar www.ozemail.com.au/~bdever2

Maybe there is a conection there somewhere. This is a great page. I have been trawling the net for about 2 years now, with only a few 'warm' finds.
