I am looking for info about Francis Dever, born 1840 Co. Donegal. He emigrated to US in 1868, married Mary Sweeney in 1870 or 71, died May 28, 1902, buried in Lehigh Co, PA. Could he be a brother of Patrick? A stone in the Immaculate Conception Cemetary in Jim Thorpe (formerly Mauch Chunk), Carbon Co, PA lists:Bridget Moran: 1860-1904, Patrick Devers: 1817-1901, Catherine Devers: 1831-1911, Michael Devers: 1863-1935, Hugh Devers: 1858-1900. These are common "family names" and are repeated throughout the family's history.

Also in the I.C. Cemetary in Jim Thorpe: stone stating Barney Dever, son of Patrick & Catherine Dever, b. Nov 4, 1855, d. Aug 19, 1879, age 23 yrs, 9 mos, 15 days, erected by his brothers.

Please email me if you find more info about the Dever brothers born around 1840-50 in Co Donegal.
