Subject: Re: Devers Question? Hi Mark: Ann Hanley's research says Devers is correct. We have been unable to confirm or deny this. As you know, Ellen Engelhardt is a great great granddaughter of the woman in question, and a great granddaughter of Mary Ann O'Donnell Kehoe. Regards,
Hello, -Colleen O'Byrne From: PatHCampbe Colleen: The name you are looking for may be Divers. There is quite a few of them in Gweedore -- next to the Rosses. (Co Donegal) Check Griffiths Valuation for the year 1857 or the Tithe Applotment Books of 1824-31 and look for Diver, Divers, Devers for the parishes of Templecrone(the Rosses) and Tullabegley(Gweedore). If you do not have access to these lists E mail me Subject: Re: Devers connection? Mary Dever and husband Frank are buried at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Allentown on Ridge Ave. buried with them are 3 sons and 2 grandchildren If you went more info on them let me know. Coleen: Just a note to express my interest. I just went "on-line" and frankly, this is the first site I have delved into with interest. Wish I could help with your search. My grandmother Margaret Daugherty Kane was from Maugh Chunk, but I know little of her history. Good luck! Pat Ritter
