I am searching for Gerald Vincent DEVER Sr, born 18 Mar 1907 in Philadelphia, PA. He married Maria "Marie" Philamina WALKER, also of Philadelphia (born 28 Oct 1906). They had three children, Gerald Jr, Barbara Anne, and John "Jack" Charles. He died 8 Dec 1952 in Camden NJ (although my father recalls that it was Dover, DE). Marie's parents were Howard Walker and Anna Conway, born in the US.
Gerald's father, although his name is unknown, was also born in Philadelphia. He had three siblings: James Dever, Cornelius "Neil" Dever, and Ruth Dever. James married Mary GALLAGHER and had seven children. He died off of the Walnut Lane Bridge in Philadelphia. Neil Dever died in Philly 9 Aug 1996 at age 79. We do not have information on Ruth, other than she never married.
Marie Walker Dever moved to NJ with her sister Helen Walker Desmond, and died in Moorestown 15 Mar 1994. Helen now lives in Downington, PA.
Gerald Jr. moved to Ohio and CT, CA and now resides in TX. Barbara Anne resides in NJ. John "Jack" Charles moved to NJ, where he died 23 Mar 1984 of lung cancer.
