Thanks Betsey, I didn't have that.
Checking ships manifest for when my gf came over indicates he came over on the Celtic arriving Ellis Island on 4/4/1909. He was listed as Anthony Devers, of Ballina,aged 24 and would be staying with Cousin Phelan Roland at 38 Mills St. Chicago, IL. The immigration officer could easily have mispelled Rowland
Anthony was baptized on 12/14/1884 and his birth was registered on 12/27/1884.
There is one other Anthony Devers who birth year fits who came in 1907, age 22, from Newport and listed a sister Maggie of 1363 Sheffield as his destination.
When Anthony came into the USA the 2nd time as Dwyer, the manifest indicated he previously came to the USA in 1910 and listed his home in Ireland as Ballina.
