I am looking for photographs of David DeVeny and his 2nd wife, Hattie L. (Wathen) Eagle DeVeny, of Red Willow co., NE. Hattie was the sister of my great-grandfather, Tom Wathen. David was b. 2 Aug., 1858, Anawan, IL, to Timothy & Jane (Nillett) DeVeny. David's first wife was Susan Shiffler, and they had 5 children: Jennie E. (DeVeny) Fuller, Tim, Bradley B., Charles W. and Willie DeVeny. David & Hattie married 18 Apr., 1905, in McCook. They had 1 child, John DeVeny, who died as an infant. David d. 7 Oct., 1921, Lingle, Wyoming, and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, in McCook. Hattie remarried to a man named Perry Byrd and she died in Colorado in 1950. I would love to hear from any descendants of David's who might have information/memorabilia/photographs of Hattie and her son John.
