I am having a heck of a time trying to piece together my Deveau family. It looks as though I do not descend from the Deveaus in Nova Scotia but from the same name in Quebec beginning with Thomas Desvaux...thanks to the much appreciated help of Dianne Devost and Harvey Devost. Her is how I have the line now.
Thomas Devost>>>>Jaques Deneau>>>>>>Joseph Clement Deneau>>>> Antoine Devot>>>>>Joseph D.Devost who married Salome Dube>>>>Joseph Murray Deveau Sr. who married Hannah Sappier(an Indian women)>>>>Joseph Murray Deveau Jr. who Married Bernice Grant.......Now where I am not sure is Joseph Devost and Salome Dube's son Joseph Murray Deveau Sr. I need to try to prove this also would like to find out other siblings of this marriage. I have been researching this family for 10 years...I have made contact with some folks who have found the need to charge me for every bit of information on the indian side of my family and I have paid....What I would like to do is share information as I have made mine public to all who would like to see....my website is www.geocities.com/rfdcolorado please feel free to review it and help me out....it just may help you with your tree. I could really use the connection of Joseph Devost and Salome Dube to Joseph Murray Deveau and Hannah Sappier....I would really like more info on the Sappier side.
