Since your family is from Cheticamp, NS my book on the Magdalen Islands will be of no help to you at all, since it is basically the genealogies of the Islanders, not Cape Bretoners.

They are the experts for that region of Inverness County, Cape Breton. They probably even have the answers on your Maurile Muise and Suzanne Chiasson question.
