Hello all!
I have a ggg grandmother Felicite Jolicouer, married Joseph Boucher 2/15/1808 (Berthier), according to information I have received. Info from another source says Felicite's formal surname is Deveau, Jolicouer is a dit name, and her parents are Pierre and Marie Gilbert.
Does anyone have any information on this "dit Jolicouer" family of Deveau? I did find a site on the internet that lists a couple of Pierre Jolicouer-Deveau, but I can't find the info on the marriage or the child Felicite. Another question, could this Marie Gilbert be referred to elsewhere as Marie Gilbault?
Forgive this long message. If anyone can help I will be very appreciative.
