My grandmother (Mary) Ella Deveau was born in Salmon River, Nova Scotia. I don't know who her parents were. I know she had at least 2 sisters,called Aunt Janie and Aunt Lizzie, and a brother who came to visit from Nova Scotia and drown in Ct.. She married a Remy Fauquet and they moved to either Lynn or Chelsea, Mass. for a while before settling in Connecticut. Maybe a connection?
