Can anyone tell me are the names DeVane, DeVaun, DeVaughn all the same families originaly? I have tried to research my William DeVaun who was from Wilmington N.C. (he married Alice Willets from Mill Creek Brunswick Co. and married second a Miss Flowers. That is all I have on him except some of his children; John Lambert DeVaun b. 28 Feb. 1853 married Bertha Frances Lee. William DeVaun B. 3 March 1851; David DeVaun b. ab. 1860 married Fanny Atlinson; Mary Ann DeVaun married Kenneth Outlaw; Liza married a Haney, and a girl that died young. Any info anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Elaine Campbell
