Isadora my be one of the Grandaughter's of Freeman DeVaughn, born in Nash County, NC in 1796. He married Margaret Elizabeth Barker in Abbeyville, SC abt 1822. He was listed in the 1840 amd 1850 census of Randolph County, AL and died there December 1865. He had six brothers and four sisters. Brothers were Michael, John, William, Isham, Elijah and Samuel. Freeman had many children:
Mary Ann; Margaret Jane; Emiline, Elizabeth; Wesley Freeman married Martha Orr; Samuel; John; Nancy; Michael married Eunitha Howe..

You'll probably find Isadora in this line.
