Mr. Glenn,
Concerning those DeVaughns who came west,
I have found an ancestor born in Upland,IN
in 1781. His sons went south to the Mount
Hope, MO region to farm .Among them , David Windfield DeVaughn stayed and later had children who relocated to Kansas and California.
