I found a listing in the Maryland Pergorative Court Records the estate appraisal of one Susan Ogleby dated 1744. Her next of kin is listed as Thomas DeVaun. Perhaps this could be Thomas DeVaughn Sr? The county the records took place in was Calvert County, Maryland and is not far from Fairfax County Virginia.
