Hello!
My name is Trine Grønn, living in Norway, but I was born in 1953 as Kathryn deVaughn, daughter of Robert /Bob deVaughn, married to Irmelin Solem of Norway. they divorced soon after, and I grew up in Norway. I am now looking for ways to contact family in Georgia, and found this site and your entries: We must be related somehow!
Bob's mother was Willi Lou (?), his father died when he was about 5 years old. Bob was some 20 years younger than his eldest brother J.E. deVaughn, and he also had to eldre brothers named Carl and Nathan.
I visited the family in Montezuma in 1979, staying with Elizabeth and J.E., and corresponded with them for some years. I also has had some mail contact a few years back with Nathan deVaughn in Atlanta.
He is my cousin, and is he your uncle? I'd very much appreciate it if you could help me get in touch with him again, as I have lost his e-mailadress.
I would, of course, also be interested in contact with others in the devaughn family living in Georgia, as I would very much like to take my teenage daaughters on a trip there to link up with our common 'genetic history'.
