I, too, am looking for Thomas Devaney who was married to a Margaret. I don't know if this is the right person because you have his children listed and there is no John or Julia. I'm thinking that possibly the Thomas I'm looking for might be his son. After I find Thomas and Margaret, then I'd like to find his parents and so on...but I need to find them first. John, I think, was born in Iowa, and he was born 5/30/1883. His father was Thomas; mother Margaret, and they had children named John, Julia, and I think there was a daughter named Margaret and a son named Tom as well, but can't swear to that. Can you help?
