Hi Linda
Thanks for the message.
From the limited information I do have - the Owen Devaney I have was born in 1900 which makes it a long time after the Owen in your family. However that does not mean they are not related - it seemed to be common practice for names to be used repeatedly in families.
If I get additional information at any time I will let you know and vice versa - I would appreciate anything you may find.
I looked at some of your other searches in relation to Foxford and you are right it is a very pretty place - I lived there for a couple of years when I was very small and used to go back with my parents for holidays with my grandmother. The last time I was there must be about 20 years ago now. I don't think I will get back there any time soon because I now live in Australia

Good luck with your searches

Regards

Sue
