Morning, Donald;

My Mary Ann was the daughter of Daniel Devaney, wife of James Keenan, and mother of Thomas Keenan. I have found her on the Ship Transcription Lists as having emmigrated to New York in 1892. Your William Thomas Devaney may have been a cousin, which would help explain how a 19 year old girl traveling without family decided to go from NY to RI. That's just speculation, but that gives me something to research and I am grateful for that!
