Just started researching Devany lineage. Michael Devany (b. Apr 1853) was my ggrandfather, m. Cecilia McGuckin (b. Jan 1870, d. 1939). They lived in New York (Yonkers, I believe) and had 11 children: Alicia, Mildred, Cecelia, RoseAnn, Vera, Tom, Bob.... I don't know if he was born in NY or Ireland, but his father (m. to Ellen, b. Aug 1834, Ireland) was from Ireland. Any info would be appreciated.
