DEVANEY/COONEY/MULDOWNEY. I am looking for information concerning my great grandfather Patrick Devaney and his wives. Before 1900 he was married to (unknown)Cooney, they lived at Laughta Durkan, Meelick, Bohola, Co Mayo.Patrick was possibly from Killasser before his first marriage. I am led to believe that there were three sons, John, Michael and Patrick. My great grandfather was made a widower before 1900 and remarried to Annie Muldowney (my great grandmother)and had eight children, of whom I have the names and limited information.
